Coffeehouses and General Coffee Information:

Alaskafe Coffeehouse - A Norwegian community based coffeehouse a bit like our own located in the Alaska fishing village of Petersburg, Alaska (pop: 3500+).  Another "Internet caffe" with live music nights, poetry readings and more!

Bean Central ~ A "hot" site from Nashville, TN.  More good coffee links!

Burps Specialty Coffee - Burps!--a family business since the 1920's-- offers blends and small batch roasted estate varietals, flavored coffees, espresso and dark roasts.

The Light Network Coffeehouse - Ok. Ok.  I'm taking liberties here.  This is a "coffeehouse-style" forum fior lighting designers and other professionals.   I'm into theatre.  Couldn't pass this one up.  Check it out, if you are into that sort of thing.

The Habit - The habit considers itself Portland, Oregon's "MOST TRIUMPHANT" Internet cafe.  Two locations: one's in an old Masonic Temple building and the other is in the famous Powell's Bookstore (not the main store but the Technical Bookstore)---one of our favorite places anywhere!

Hyman Smith Coffees - New York roaster with an interesting selection of "straight" unblended coffees.

Koa Coffee Plantation - Located at 2500 feet on the slopes of the Mauna Loa volcano on the island of Hawaii, this coffee grower specializes in - what else? - Kona coffee.

Mugsy's Coffee Cafe - Performances, news, links, coffee, and more.  Out of Riverside, CA.

The Speakeasy - The Speakeasy is an Internet cafe located in the Belltown district of Seattle with 1300+ members and 300+ WebStorage and WebHouse customers. On Saturdays it becomes an Internet classroom with Internet Workshops on high-speed graphical computers that are open to the public. They offer light meals, coffees, pastries, beer and wine in a pleasant space of couches, tables, stools, computers with high-speed net access and desktop publishing.  Several large walls in the cafe form the Speakeasy Art Gallery.   Worth a visit if you're in the area.

Tully's - Seattle's second largest company-owned gourmet coffee roaster and retailer.  Their spots are pleasant, and seem to live up to their claim of providing a balanced blend of taste, expertise, warmth, ambiance, and friendliness.  If Starbuck's fills the bill fo you, give Tully's a try.

By surfing through the Ring, you will see a massive showcase of talent and a tremendous variety of poetry related sites. Whatever your poetic pleasure, there is bound to be something for you."
